Flame, Grant Me Strength Location

Found on a body outside the eastern wall of Fort Gael in Caelid — not bought or unlocked from a prayerbook.

Quick Answer

Location: Eastern side of Fort Gael, Caelid

Nearest grace: Fort Gael North. Loot the body outside the eastern wall; two Flame Chariots guard the pickup.

Flame, Grant Me Strength sits on a body on the eastern exterior of Fort Gael in Caelid. You pick it up in the field — it is not sold by a merchant, unlocked from a prayerbook, or handed over by a quest.

Fort Gael sits in southern Caelid, west of Redmane Castle's approach and east of the Caelid Highway. If you already have Fort Gael North, rest there and drop south or southeast along the fort's outer edge. Coming from the Caelid Highway South or the rot flats, aim for the fort silhouette and stay outside the walls — you do not need to clear the commanders inside. The body is on the eastern exterior, watched by two Flame Chariots. Clear or kite the chariots, take the Incantation, then leave. Memorize it at any Site of Grace and equip a Sacred Seal that meets Faith 15 before casting.

Flame, Grant Me Strength is a body buff on the caster. It does not create an aura for nearby allies the way Golden Vow does.

The attack side raises physical and fire-affinity attack power. That covers physical weapon hits and fire damage from weapons, skills, and many fire Incantations while the buff is active.

Stamina recovery also ticks up for the duration, which helps aggressive melee strings between casts. PvP values are lower than PvE on the damage side.

How Long Does Flame, Grant Me Strength Last?

Flame, Grant Me Strength lasts 30 seconds by default. Old Lord's Talisman extends it to about 39 seconds.

Does Flame, Grant Me Strength Stack With Golden Vow?

Yes. Flame, Grant Me Strength stacks with Golden Vow. One is a body buff and the other is an aura buff, so both stay active and the damage bonuses multiply instead of replacing each other.

Buff CombinationStack?
Flame, Grant Me Strength + Golden VowYes — body + aura multiply
Flame, Grant Me Strength + Howl of ShabririNo — both are body buffs
Flame, Grant Me Strength + another Body BuffNo — only one body buff at a time

Cast Golden Vow first for the long aura, then Flame, Grant Me Strength right before you enter the fog. Flame, Grant Me Strength expires much sooner, so refresh it between attempts while Golden Vow is still running when you can.

Howl of Shabriri is also a body buff. Pick either Flame, Grant Me Strength or Howl — not both. A second body buff replaces the first.

Golden Vow covers all damage types and adds defense for you and nearby allies. Flame, Grant Me Strength is the sharper physical and fire burst on top.

Best ForPhysical / Fire burstGeneral-purpose / co-op

Use both together on boss attempts when you can spare the Faith, FP, and memory slots. Golden Vow alone is the better single-buff pick for general exploration and ally coverage.

Flame, Grant Me Strength wins the short window when you want a physical or fire spike and already have an aura up — or when Faith 15 is all you can invest before a respec toward Golden Vow at Faith 25.

Is Flame, Grant Me Strength Worth Using?

Flame, Grant Me Strength is one of the best short burst buffs for physical and fire builds. Faith 15 is low enough for Strength, quality, and hybrid Faith/fire setups, and it stacks cleanly with Golden Vow. Use it for boss openers, fire Incantation windows, and any loadout that already leans physical or fire. Skip it when you need a different body buff, cannot spare the memory slot, or barely deal physical or fire damage.
